Mt Rose 4.563m
The ascent of Mt Rose was one of these that make you remember how important the team is. We unfortunately had in our group a psychiatrically instable climber with borderline symptoms. It means that she did and said things that she later wouldn´t admit having said or done. The situation got so bad and dangerous for us that the guide tried to evacuate her by helicopter.
There is another important element that still, after 3 years, gives me bad souvenirs about this climb. A climber stole my climbing shoes! It is quite a shock when in the morning you are looking for your shoes and at first you think " man,... I forgot where I put my shoes". But then once you realize that someone took your shoes you start feeling bad. It is the complete opposite of the climbing atmosphere that I am used to.
